HELLO DAWG FANS! Welcome to the University of Washington Husky Marching Band Alumni Association homepage.
HMBAA was created in 1966 by a group of Husky Marching Band Alumni who wanted to establish a scholarship fund for the Varsity Band and a newsletter to keep in touch with other Alums. HMBAA currently has a membership of more than 700 band and cheer squad alumni.
In 1977, the Alumni Band was created by HMBAA as a special band to perform at Husky Stadium on game days. It was one of the first of its kind in the country. The Alumni Band still provides entertainment for Husky fans as they enter and leave the stadium as well as during the game. In addition, the band also performs at a number of pepband events throughout the year.
