: Barb (Houston) Shimizu a trombone player from 1981 to 1987 has never really left the band. Barb is one of the most active members involved in HMBAA. Even when she has not been a member of the Board, Barb is always there on game days and most pepbands. For the past two years Barb has been the organizations Treasurer.

In Barb's spare time she is a top level international judo referee.
